This is an old one, but I finished it last night. It was going to be really long but I cut it down because it plays better without the really dumb joke I was trying to tell about the “Big Mouth Frog.” (lol) Maybe one day I will relay that one.

Out and About with Christy and Lydia: Cruisin’

Christy, I finally edited our video! Took me long enough, huh?

It’s Out and About, but with a twist. My friend, Christy, came into town for a visit, so we cruised around my neighborhood. We went to the library and skipped picking up my book because there was no parking. We drove to Griffith Park Observatory and failed to stop and hang out because there was no parking. I’m sure we did drove to do something else and didn’t because there was no parking. So much we didn’t do, and had a great time not doing it.

Christy is one of my best friends. She’s hysterical, so enjoy!!

Doug and I are out and on our way to pick up a part from the Volkswagen Dealership because my car breaks down a lot. Doug’s fighting a cold, and after we have lunch, also finds himself fighting a monster bout of diarrhea. lol

We are on our way to a different camera store this time and I prove that it pays to pay attention while you’re driving and not overreact... I swear, I really don’t t drive like this anymore…

Out and About with Doug & Lydia: Trip to the Camera Store

Well, I thought that after a very intense piece about mutilation and sociopaths (before I pick up that story again on Thursday!), I would lighten the mood a bit with some footage of Doug and I being… well, Doug and I.

I was really surprised when he agreed to let me shoot us running our weekend errands, but he did agree, and what happens is usually damn funny to me, because we’re pretty in sync… meaning: I’m silly and drive obnoxiously while he shakes his head at me and then rips out a crass quip here and there. We are just like that anyway, so it’s amusing to catch it on camera.
