Michelle Avanti talks about Shelley Lubben and Pink Cross Foundation

I don’t like talking about Shelley Lubben these days. I think people who have followed this blog for any length of time know that. I don’t like her taking up room on my site, I don’t like saying or even writing her name, but this video confirms every suspicion I have ever had about her, and my deepest sympathies go out to Madelyne (stage name, “Michelle Avanti”) for all she’s been through.

The video implicates Shelley Lubben as doing exactly what she accuses pornographers of doing. Exactly what she accuses pornographers of doing, and this is coming from someone who lived with her and represented Pink Cross Foundation for one of the longest periods of time.

Regardless of my personal feelings about Shelley Lubben, I hope she gets help for what appears to be a myriad of issues. And I’d also like to say, for people who really do deeply feel that Shelley Lubben has a big heart and is trying to do the right thing, I understand your wanted to feel that way. We all want to believe the things people tell us. It is possible that she could eventually make amends and turn her life around and start treating herself and others better, but I would strongly advice you not to just take a person’s word for it when they say they mean well. It might seem easier to believe someone when they use religion to say they love you and others, but actions speak much louder than words, and if you are a well-meaning person, I suggest you really investigate people and organizations before you invest your time, devotion and money towards a cause that actually hurts people, outs their personal information, steals from them, etc… We’re all human, we make mistakes; in the end we’re just trying to be better (hopefully), and it’s really the best we can do.
